With the aim of selling regional products to consumers in cities, the task involved photographing all the products sourced from local farmers for the new brand. We commenced the project with approximately 1,200 products obtained from 40 different farmers. Furthermore, we required a transparent version of each product, along with a presentation shot featuring various props. Approximately 10,000 photos were taken throughout this period.

Which type of product shot?
I think the biggest challenge was to decide which product shot would be more engaging for the customer. Throughout our customer research a pain point was that customers couldn’t touch, smell, and see vegetables & fruits. For this reason we decided to put some extra effort into shooting high quality and mouthwatering product shoots instead of just relying onto simple product shots on a white background.
